Kimche starts the actual trekking through off the beaten trails to Ghandruk, which is the largest Gurung village in the Annapurna region. The route passes through a densely forested path filled with rhododendrons, oaks, bamboos, and pines. The trek not only offers eye-catching views of the snowy Himalayas like Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), Nilgiri (7061m), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna South (7219m), Machhapuchhre (6993m), and others, but also features stunning view of sunrise over the mountains from Khopra Ridge and Poon Hill.
