Paragliding became very popular in Nepal in the last years – especially in the city of Pokhara.
When the weather is good we can see hundreds of colorful paragliders flying around the Sarangkot hill. On clear days you will have during your flight an absolutely breathtaking view on the Annapurna Range, Dhaulagiri, Pokhara Valley and Phewa Lake.
There are many professional agencies and world class pilots offering tandem flights or solo flights after a multi day course.
The best season is in November and December when the skies are clear and the view the best.
Normal tandem flight takes 15 to 20 minutes
Cross-country tandem flight takes 30 to 45 minutes
The prices for tandem flights (normal and cross-country) have been fixed by the Nepal Air sports Association. So wherever we ask – the cost will be the same.
Photos and 2 minutes DVD of your flight will be available for purchase as well.
If you are flying in cold weather, we advise to bring along a windbreaker jacket with you. In the summer season you can come as you are but you will need shoes as sandals not allowed.
